Who we are

Cloudberrix OÜ is a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 17557468), at Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, 10115, Harju maakond. Where this policy describes personal data, we are the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Reach us any time at support@cloudberrix.com. There is no separate privacy department — the people who build the software read that inbox.

Our apps

Our apps do their job on your device, and that is where everything you put into them stays. They contain no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party code that reports back. We run no servers that receive your content, and could not read your data if we wanted to.

Whatever you enter is stored in the app’s own storage on your device. It is included in your device or iCloud backups if you have those switched on — a matter between you and Apple, under Apple’s privacy policy, and not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes its data.

If an app asks for a permission such as the camera, it is used for the task you asked for, at the moment you asked for it, and nothing is retained or transmitted as a result. If an app lets you export or share a file, that happens only when you choose it, and it goes where you send it. We receive no copy.

Apps and in-app purchases are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the transaction and is the merchant of record, so we never see your name, billing address, or payment details. Apple gives us anonymised sales reports that cannot be traced to an individual. Our App Store privacy labels read “Data Not Collected”, and our app bundles declare no collected data types and no tracking.

This website

cloudberrix.com is a set of static pages. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts, no third-party widgets, no forms. Typefaces are self-hosted rather than loaded from a font network, so no third party is told you were here. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web server, that infrastructure processes your IP address and basic technical details in order to deliver the page and defend against abuse. We have no access to those logs and build no profiles from them. This rests on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and may involve servers outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards our host maintains.

If you write to us

We receive your email address and whatever you put in the message, and use it to answer you — or, if it’s a bug report, to fix the problem. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in supporting our products (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or performance of a contract where your message concerns a purchase.

We keep correspondence while the issue is open and no longer than two years after, then delete it. We do not add you to a mailing list, market to you, sell your address, or share it with anyone beyond the email provider that carries the message. Please don’t send us sensitive personal information: we don’t need it, and email isn’t a secure channel for it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable form. Since the only thing we ever hold is correspondence you sent us, these requests are usually resolved the same week. Email support@cloudberrix.com and we will answer within one month, as the regulation requires. Exercising these rights is free.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly you may complain to a supervisory authority — in our case the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee), or the authority where you live. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

Our apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, because we do not collect personal data through our apps at all.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date above. If a future product processes data in a way this page does not already describe, we will say so clearly here and the relevant App Store privacy label will reflect it before that product ships.
